To this day, Schweinfurt stands for excellent technology and world market leading industry. During this tour we proudly present our pioneers of this world fame. Discover the former workshop of Philipp Moritz Fischer, who invented the pedal crank for bicycles. Or see the origins of the FAG Kugelfischer company. Not far from there is the shot tower as a symbol for industrial development in the middle of Schweinfurt's old town. In the 19th century, the former stair tower of a Renaissance house was rebuilt for shotgun production.

During the final visit to the industrial museum in the spinning mill, you will discover some important inventions live and in color.
