The young winery Wein von 3 is at home in old walls - the baroque castle Zeilitzheim. "Natural viticulture" and celebrated creativity are already making the first 2012 vintage of Wein von 3 successful. The heart of this winery are the three winemakers behind the winery. Alexander, Heiko and Christian bring their ideals into the wine bottle in an unconventional way and with a lot of fun at work.

Castle history

Get to know the cordial von Halem castle family. Three generations now live in the lovingly restored castle from the 17th century. Here you spend the night in a four-poster bed and meet or celebrate in a historical setting. Barbecue, castle picnic and wine tasting take place regularly in the central arcade courtyard and the castle park.

Guided tour through the baroque country palace

Lord of the castle Alexander von Halem shows you his baroque country castle. Highlights are the frescoed hall painted around 1735 by the Italian painter Giovanni Francesco Marchini, the hunting hall and the central arcade courtyard. You can also discover the spacious palace gardens, which are laid out in baroque style.

Culture in the castle

Top-class cultural events, readings, Easter or Christmas markets, barbecues, castle picnics or wine tastings take place regularly all year round in the arcade courtyard and the castle park. You can find the current program of events here.

Various conference rooms are available: Hunting hall (140 sqm), the Remise (100 sqm), the old castle press (80 sqm), the fresco room (45 sqm), the fireplace room (30 sqm), the Petrini room (50 sqm), the seminar room (47 sqm), the old forge (40 sqm).
